Programa XI Coloquio Ibérico de Estudios Rurales – Vila Real (Portugal)

Ya está disponible el programa completo del XI Coloquio Ibérico de Estudios Rurales (CIER), que se celebrará en Vila Real (Portugal) del 13 al 15 de octubre de 2016. El coloquio está organizado por la Sociedade Portuguesa de Estudos Rurais (SPER), la Asociación Española de Economía Agraria (AEEA) y la Universidad de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Duro (UTAD) a través del Centro de Estudos Transdisciplinares para o Desenvolvimento (CETRAD), en asociación con la Asociación de Geógrafos Españoles (AGE), los grupos de Sociología Rural y de Alimentación de la Federación Española de Sociología (FES), la Rede de Estudos Rurais (RER, Brasil), la Sociedad Española de Historia Agraria (SEHA) y la Sociedade Brasileira de Economia, Administração e Sociología Rural (SOBER).

Field trip to the Alto Douro Vinhateiro (Douro Valley wine estate)

  • Bus ride on the Alto Douro Vinhateiro (with lunch box), enjoying the typical vineyards landscape (classified as World Heritage by UNESCO).
  • Visit an innovative wine estate, walking on the vineyards , and having a wine tasting (and eating some local snacks).
  • Boat trip in the Douro river.
  • Return to Vila Real (on the trip bus).
